Be a Volunteer at Junior Eurovision 2026 in Malta!

Volunteer applications are now open for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, giving fans the opportunity to become part of the team behind this year’s contest in Malta.

Malta is officially looking for volunteers to help deliver the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, which will take place on 24 October at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali.

The host broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), has launched an official volunteer application process for people interested in supporting the organisation of the 24th edition of the competition.

What will volunteers do?

According to the official call, volunteers will help welcome and support artists, delegations, guests and fans arriving in Malta for Junior Eurovision.

The available roles can involve several areas of the event, including:

  • đŸ€ Welcoming artists and international delegations

  • 🎟️ Supporting event operations

  • 🏹 Hospitality and guest assistance

  • 📩 Logistics and venue operations

  • 🌍 Working with an international team

  • ✨ Helping create the overall Junior Eurovision experience

The organisers describe the volunteers as an important part of making sure the event runs smoothly and that the Junior Eurovision family feels at home in Malta.

How to apply

Applicants are asked to complete the official online application form. The form requests basic information such as name, contact details, locality, nationality, age group, preferred area of volunteering, languages spoken and availability.

Applicants must also provide a recent photograph as part of the application. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, with successful applicants to be contacted by the organising team.

Junior Eurovision heads to Malta

Junior Eurovision 2026 will bring together 16 countries at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali on Saturday, 24 October. The participating countries are Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Spain and Ukraine.

The live show is scheduled to begin at 21:00 CEST, with the MFCC set to be transformed into a Eurovision Festa Village for the competition.

With preparations now well underway, the launch of the volunteer programme marks another important step on Malta’s journey towards hosting Junior Eurovision 2026.
