Eurovision 2027 could bring a unique stage concept to Burgas, with plans showing two separate stages connected by a walkway inside Arena Burgas.

New details about the planned Eurovision 2027 setup at Arena Burgas have revealed an interesting stage concept that could make the contest feel more immersive than a traditional Eurovision production.

According to the latest plans, the arena could feature two stages connected by a walkway, creating a setup in which performers can move between different parts of the venue during the live shows.

Two stages instead of one

The main stage would remain the centrepiece of the production and would have direct access to the backstage area.

However, a second stage would also be installed elsewhere inside the arena. The two stages would be connected by a walkway, potentially allowing artists to interact with different sections of the audience during their performances.

While the final design has not yet been confirmed, the concept could provide Eurovision 2027 with considerably more flexibility when it comes to staging performances.

The Green Room inside the arena

Another notable element of the proposed layout is the Green Room.

Rather than being completely separated from the main audience area, the Green Room would be incorporated into the arena setup. This would allow delegations and artists to remain part of the visual atmosphere of the show while the competition is taking place.

The combination of the two stages, the connecting walkway and the Green Room could create a much more compact and interactive Eurovision environment.

Could Burgas bring Eurovision closer to the audience?

The proposed design suggests that the organisers are looking beyond a conventional stage-and-audience arrangement.

With performers potentially moving between two stages and the Green Room integrated into the venue, Eurovision 2027 could place considerably more emphasis on the connection between the artists and the audience.

Of course, these are still proposed plans, and the final Eurovision stage design may look different once the production concept is officially revealed.

But if the current proposal becomes reality, Arena Burgas could offer Eurovision fans a very different visual experience in 2027.
