Eurovision Cruise 2027 to Sail Between Helsinki and Stockholm

Eurovision fans will once again be able to take part in a dedicated Eurovision-themed cruise when the Eurovision Cruise 2027 sets sail between Helsinki and Stockholm next August. Organised by OGAE Finland in cooperation with Tallink Silja , the two-night cruise will take place aboard the Silja Symphony , departing from Helsinki on 19 August 2027 and returning to the Finnish capital on 21 August .  The main evening of the cruise will be Friday, 20 August , when Eurovision-themed activities are planned throughout the day and night. The programme is expected to include Eurovision music, a Eurovision show, Eurovision karaoke, live artists and a disco lasting until 6 a.m. The main Eurovision party venue will be the ship's Starlight nightclub , where Eurovision fans from Finland and around the world will gather to celebrate the contest while sailing across the Baltic Sea.  The Silja Symphony also features a 143-metre-long indoor Promenade , surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops ...

€4000 for One Night in Burgas: Huge Accommodation Prices Ahead of Eurovision 2027

Eurovision 2027 is already having a major impact on accommodation prices in Burgas, with some apartments reportedly being listed for as much as €4,000 per night. According to a report by Euronews Romania, accommodation in the Bulgarian host city is selling out rapidly ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Burgas in May 2027. Around 96% of accommodation units in Burgas are reportedly already booked or unavailable for the Eurovision period on booking platforms, with the huge demand pushing prices to record levels. Some apartments are being offered for up to €4,000 for a single night .  Tourism experts expect tens of thousands of international visitors to travel to Bulgaria for the contest. Alexandra Căpitănescu Returns to The Voice of Romania to Support 17 Year Old Talent

Romania’s Eurovision 2026 representative Alexandra Căpitănescu made an emotional return to The Voice of Romania , the show that launched her career, to support a talented 17-year-old contestant. Luca Mastacan, a 17-year-old student from Bârlad, impressed all four coaches during the blind auditions with his powerful interpretation of the Romanian classic “Cine iubește și lasă”. All four chairs turned for the young singer. But Luca’s appearance had a special connection to Alexandra. The young singer had previously posted a cover of Alexandra’s Eurovision 2026 entry “Choke Me” online. Alexandra noticed his performance, commented on it and shared it with her followers. Swedish Eurovision icon Carola Häggkvist has opened up about her life, career, faith and relationships in her first autobiography, Jag är Carola ( I Am Carola ). Released on September 8, coinciding with Carola’s 60th birthday, the 576-page book was written together with author Desirée Stattin Drakenberg and published by Bokförlaget Forum. The autobiography covers Carola’s journey from her childhood in Norsborg and her breakthrough with “Främling” in Melodifestivalen 1983 to her international Eurovision success with “Fångad av en stormvind” , which won the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden in 1991. However, according to a review published by Dagens Nyheter , the book is about much more than Carola’s career. Her Christian faith is one of its central themes, with many of the events in her life viewed through her relationship with God.
