€4000 for One Night in Burgas: Huge Accommodation Prices Ahead of Eurovision 2027

Eurovision 2027 is already having a major impact on accommodation prices in Burgas, with some apartments reportedly being listed for as much as €4,000 per night.

According to a report by Euronews Romania, accommodation in the Bulgarian host city is selling out rapidly ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Burgas in May 2027.

Around 96% of accommodation units in Burgas are reportedly already booked or unavailable for the Eurovision period on booking platforms, with the huge demand pushing prices to record levels. Some apartments are being offered for up to €4,000 for a single night. 

Tourism experts expect tens of thousands of international visitors to travel to Bulgaria for the contest. One tourism consultant quoted by Euronews described the expected prices as those of a “mini-holiday”, rather than typical off-season rates, as fans from across Europe and beyond are expected to descend on the Black Sea city. 

However, Eurovision fans who cannot find reasonably priced accommodation in Burgas still have several alternatives. Nearby destinations including Pomorie, Sozopol, Chernomorets and Sunny Beach are being highlighted as possible options for visitors looking to stay outside the host city. 

Tour operators are also preparing special Eurovision packages. According to Euronews, offers covering the 11–15 May Eurovision period are expected to include accommodation, transportation, transfers and tourist assistance, with some packages potentially starting at around €100–€150 per room per night. 

Around 40,000 foreign tourists are expected to visit Bulgaria's Black Sea coast for Eurovision 2027. The contest could also bring an estimated €70 million boost to the Bulgarian economy, according to the report. 

With Eurovision 2027 still months away, the accommodation situation is likely to become an increasingly important issue for fans planning their trip to Burgas.

For Eurovision fans, one message is already clear: booking early could make a huge difference.
