UMK 2027 Tickets Sell Out in Record Time

Tickets for UMK 2027 , Finland’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, have sold out in record time. The tickets went on sale on Thursday morning at 9:00 CET, but they were quickly snapped up. Tickets for the afternoon dress rehearsal are also almost completely sold out, with only a few tickets remaining. UMK 2027 will take place at the Tampere Arena on February 20, 2027 . Seven acts will compete for the chance to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria. The growing popularity of UMK is also reflected in its international audience. Last year's show attracted almost 20,000 people in person , with fans travelling from Finland and 26 different countries to attend the event. The television broadcast reached 2.5 million viewers in Finland, highlighting UMK's growing importance in the country's music scene and within the Eurovision community. Australian singer ALIUS to Melodifestivalen 2027?

Australian singer, songwriter and producer ALIUS , real name Sebastian Ivanov, has spoken about his Eurovision ambitions and his strong connection with Sweden in a new interview with JOY Breakfast. The Melbourne based artist discussed his latest single “Trigger Point” , a collaboration with Swedish singer Lisa Ajax, as well as his musical journey and his long-standing connection with the Swedish music industry. ALIUS revealed that he has been put forward for Sweden’s Melodifestivalen . The artist has previously said that representing Sweden at Eurovision would be a dream for him. “I would love to represent Sweden in Eurovision,” ALIUS has said, explaining that Sweden has played an important role in his musical journey. The connection goes back many years. Since launching his ALIUS project, Ivanov has regularly travelled to Sweden to work with Swedish songwriters and producers.
