Vietnam has revealed more details about its ambitious selection process for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 , with five creative teams developing five completely new songs for the country’s confirmed representative, Tóc Tiên . Vietnamese broadcaster VTV has internally selected Tóc Tiên to represent the country at the first Eurovision Song Contest Asia, following weeks of speculation surrounding the singer’s participation. The 37-year-old artist is one of Vietnam’s best-known pop stars, having built a successful career in music and television since the late 2000s. Rather than selecting an artist and an already-existing song separately, Vietnam is now putting the focus on creating a song specifically for Tóc Tiên and the international competition.
