Monroe to Perform at Historic French Cathedral
French-American singer Monroe , who represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest with her pop-opera song “Regarde !” , is set to perform a special concert at Saint-Lazare Cathedral in Autun on September 19. The young artist, who is not yet 18, has attracted attention with her powerful soprano voice, distinctive blonde braids and natural stage presence. She first rose to prominence in 2024 after appearing on the French television programme Prodiges , which celebrates young talents in classical music and dance. Born to a French-Congolese mother and an American father, Monroe began singing in her church choir while also learning to play the piano.
