Kosovo Aims for Junior Eurovision Debut
Kosovo appears to be taking another step towards the Eurovision family, with plans to establish a new platform that could eventually lead to the country’s participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest . The upcoming “Kosovo Chords 2026” festival will take place in Pristina from 30 October to 1 November 2026 , combining modern Albanian music with a dedicated competition for young performers. According to artistic director Florent Boshnjaku , the festival’s final evening will be dedicated entirely to children aged 9 to 14 , who will perform with a professional live orchestra on a large television stage.
